MDI General Contracting, also known as Miller Does It General Contracting, brings skilled construction, clear coordination, and personal accountability to residential and commercial projects across Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania.

We partner with homeowners, business owners, property investors, and design professionals to move projects from early planning through completion with clear expectations, thoughtful problem-solving, and work we are proud to stand behind.

Our work spans renovations, commercial improvements, custom fabrication, finish carpentry, and project coordination. Across every scope, we stay focused on the details that shape the finished result and the trust required to get there.

MEET THE OWNER

Jonathan “Jon” Miller
Head of Construction

Jonathan Miller oversees construction at MDI, a company still known to many of our clients and partners as Miller Does It. Coming from a long line of craftsmen and builders and trained as a certified welder, he developed an early appreciation for the skill, precision, and pride that quality work requires.

Jonathan approaches construction with an understanding of how each part of the work affects the whole. He helps clients understand their options, works through existing conditions, and brings together the trades and expertise each project requires. His involvement extends from the early conversations to the work taking place on site.

Referrals and returning clients have shaped the business since its founding in 2020. As projects have grown in scale and complexity, Jonathan has remained directly involved, giving clients access to the person responsible for overseeing their work.
