Jonathan Miller leads MDI General Contracting with the same grounded approach that built his reputation throughout the Pittsburgh region. Coming from a long line of craftsmen and builders and trained as a certified welder, he developed an early appreciation for the skill, precision, and pride that quality work requires.
Jonathan believes construction is more than labor. It is a craft that requires experience, judgment, coordination, and an understanding of how all parts of the work come together. Whether working directly with homeowners, collaborating with design professionals, or coordinating trades in the field, he approaches every project with that responsibility in mind.
Many clients first came to know Jonathan through Miller Does It, a business built through word-of-mouth referrals and a reputation for dependable craftsmanship. As the work grew in scale and complexity, the company evolved into MDI General Contracting to reflect the way the business now operates: leading projects, coordinating teams, managing details, and carrying work from planning through completion. The name changed, but the foundation remained the same: careful work, clear expectations, and real ownership from start to finish.
